Hey Fred, It is probably an over simplified version of timing. I am using the iPython timeit routine while calling the numerically implemented functions (either the sympy.lambdify created function or my wrapped function) with some example numerical input. I am planning on using the created function in an integration process, so the calling time is more important than the set up time. Cheers, Guy
