Hey Aditi I'm from IIIT Delhi, this is my first time applying too. As Aleksandra has aleady suggested, take a look at the Ideas Page. Download and play around with SymPy, and get familiar with Python if you aren't already(I doubt that though if you are 2nd year student at IIIT H :) ).
