Hi , I am Adithya Murali, an Math and Computer Science undergrad from BITS Hyderabad, India. I have good background in Mathematics, and I have done courses in Linear Algebra, Groups and Rings, Fields and Modules and I have done a project in Representation Theory (Linear Representations of Groups). I'm looking for some experience and context in Computer Science. I would not call myself a programmer but I have fair knowledge and experience in programming and I believe that I can take the effort to get myself upto the expertise of regular programmers. I would like some guidance on how to go about the project on Groups that SymPy is working on.
I had been through the list of requirements mentioned on the Wiki. The concepts involved are tools that I deal with on a regular basis in my line of study. I would, however like to get started on the algorithmic and implementation aspects and require guidance in that regard.
