Hello, My name is Jason Cohen. I work in Marketing Data Systems at Red Hat.
I have 1+ years of experience in Python, mostly for data analysis, though now I am beginning to learn more on the development and data-pipeline side as well. I have used the Pandas library extensively and have some experience with sci-kit learn. I also have experience using Spark (PySpark) and SQL. Prior to Red Hat, I worked at a Marketing Technology / Business Intelligence company called MaxPoint (recently acquired by Valassis Digital) in several roles, but most recently as a Data Analyst. I majored in Political Science for undergrad at West Virginia University, but I am taking post-graduate courses at North Carolina State University, which includes mathematics and computer science classes. I have hopes of earning a Master's degree in Computer Science with a focus in Data Science. As part of my current role, we are allowed to devote time to working on any open source project of our choice. To me, sympy seems like a good place to start since I can apply fundamentals I learn in both my CS and Mathematics courses. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "sympy" group.
