How much maturity of implementing integration, limit, or series do you 
request for?
Usually, the working professional level of implementing difficult 
algorithms for integration or limit, goes as par as people who can 
understand and implement Risch algorithm or holonomic functions.
But I believe that the term rewriting approach is still commonly practiced, 
because at least it is still more stronger than it can solve somewhat 
harder problems than using integration tables with the generalization of 
coefficients.
