Hello SymPy Community, Yesterday I was admitted to an REU for over the summer. However, I'm more interested in participating in GSoC with SymPy. While I understand that decisions for GSoC won't be announced until May 4th, I have to inform the REU program by April 28th if I intend to participate.
Would it be possible to know whether my proposal will be accepted before April 28 or at least some idea about how likely it is to be accepted? I'm hoping to avoid the situation of declining the REU offer only to find out later that my GSoC proposal was not accepted. Thank you for considering my request.
