after some research
i did the following, in TMimePart.DecodePart;
s := CharsetConversion(s, FCharsetCode, GetCPFromID(fCharset)
{FTargetCharset});
changed FTargetCharset to GetCPFromID(fCharset)
apparently FCharset of the part stores the charset needed for decoding
i used the sample i sent u and it worked ok
i tried sending mail to myself and it was ok
did i mess sth else without noticing or do u think this is a good
solution?
since this is a change in the synapse code itself, plz let me know i
didnt mess things up
