By my tests is Cryptlib slow itself. By OpenSSL I got much better speeds. (but OpenSSL not supporting SSH, it supporting just SSL/TLS) Cryptlib is slow, because it is slow itself and because it have 'not well clever' API what is not optimal for use with Synapse. -- Lukas Gebauer.
