If you say "in 38b4 you INTRODUCE a bug", then this bug cannot exists in 38b3 and I must search it in changes between 38b3 and 38b4. But because this issue exists a few releases (!), you evidently confusing me. If I not remember it, then I must search through changes in lastest versions, and it will be my wasted time in this case. And I really not have time for this games! If you say something like: "I found a issue what probably exists longer time" then I know where and what I must search in sources and version history, and I am not wasting time by detailed changelog from just latest synasnap. Second your mistake is call it as a "bug". It is not a "bug" just because you disagree with current practice. It is just 'issue' and we can discuss if this practice is reasonable or not. But call it as a bug, they are very strong words, especially if you know why BOM has been added to Synapse... I really not like games like: "one say: you must add BOM, because... and after a few time someone other say: you must remove BOM, because... and after some next time someone else say: you must add BOM, because..." Well, it is not a bug, and it is not introduced in 38b4. I wrote this to you, and say: "it is introduced in 38b4, read me again!" So, I am really maybe stupid, because I not understand you. I ask you two times for examples of programs, what have a problem witth BOM in message, you never reply. Did you think why I ask you for this? Just because I want to verify if problem is really with BOM. It is because manytimes reporters think a problem on totally different place then real problem is! -- Lukas Gebauer.
