Hi,
I'm running into problems with Indy, discovered synalist, and am switching
applications to blocking sockets.
It really feels good to drop all that 'weight' added by Indy... I did my own
threads already anyway.
I'm still learning as i go how to use the blocking sockets. I notice there's
no Connected:boolean property.
I understand there's no Disconnected event, and that you know the connection
is gone by a CanRead or Recv* call failing, it is what I would expect of a
blocking socket.
But if CanRead or Recv* fails, how can I check if the connection really is
lost,
I could check for a set of error-codes, and hope I get the right ones,
Or can I assume the connection is lost on any error?
Greetings
Stijn
