Hi,

I have a printer connected to a serial port and I'm having a few problems...

The first is probably not a synapse problem...
When I send a series of printer strings to a serial printer, the
printer doesn't receive them. However, when I step through each
command using the debugger, the printer string gets sent to the
printer as expected.

It seems as though the printer string gets overwritten by the next
string before the printer had had a chance to process it. Is that
likely?

Another problem is that I get an error which says "Communication error
9991: port owned by another process".

Thank you,

Dave Coventry
