I've switched a big project at work from Indy to Synapse to get rid of some
pesky threading issues... With success.
(Big: 2 servers are 'scheduling' file transfers from 200 and more clients
over VPN connections to control bandwidth in use, tens of gigabytes a day)
The new system has far less hickups than I expected. Most of em were my
fault and I fixed them, but this one I can't seem to find what's going on
right-a-way:
Now and then (a few times a week, server under high load at these times), a
SendString call on the server throws:
10060 "A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not
properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed
because connected host has failed to respond",
though the connection is fine, before and after, and the client does receive
the data sent.
Is there an internal timeout on sending data? Should I check if and how
output buffering works? Should I not worry and ignore?
