I have added myself to the list.
As soon as the Synapse release is through, I hope to look into the
HttpCore life cycle management JIRA I opened, and also would include
some JMX monitoring for the Synapse NIO transport using the metrics
available through HttpCore

on that PMC, so you could oversee and influence further development of

At the very least I think Asankha should join, but the more the merrier.
