(Cross-post for maximum coverage; please reply to sync-dev) For several months now we've been rolling out our assisted migration process to help users on the legacy Sync service upgrade to Firefox Accounts. With the migration well underway, it is time to settle the details of a graceful end-of-life for the old service.
We will shut down the legacy Sync service on September 30th 2015. We encourage all users of the old Sync service to upgrade to a Firefox Account.
