(N.b.: the network stack that Sync uses is *not* the same as the one Firefox uses, so you can't surf to a site in Firefox to test that everything worked. Sorry!) I know the process varies depending on Android version, and that very old devices (Android 2.2? 2.3?) may not do the right thing even after adding the certificate :( After that, I haven't done this myself.
