Interesting. Java, but native translation. There's a good comparison here: http://stackoverflow.com/a/2306275/1440785 Not sure if it solves the TrayIcon / AppIndicator issue with Linux/Ubuntu, though. I'll look into that and try it out. But to be honest, its up to the one who in the end has to code it: Vincent has kindly offered to start out with something, and I'm inclined to let him choose what he likes best :-D Go Vincent!
