More details..
This is the flip side of the jumbo contact test: fill all fields on the
n900 at least once (for IM, email and telephone, at least 4 times)

Sync to desktop

Results:

evolution preserves all - ui shows 4 emails, 4 contacts, and all phone
numbers

I see inconsistent behavior in IM sync

AIM, Gadu-Gadu
---------------
from evolution to n900 no change to the vcf
from n900 to evolution a "TYPE=HOME" is removed (VCF)

Jabber/GoogleTalk
------------------

N900 to evolution - Googletalk is turned into a jabber contact
see my previous note for the inverse behavior)

Facebook
-------

evolution does not support the field and as it moves from n900 to
evolution it looks like the field is dropped :-(

All of this is to say there is some mapping going on, and it may be fine
as long as no significant info is lost...it does seem a bit inconsistent
to me - but there are probably reasons...
