That is easy to check: http://packages.ubuntu.com/lucid/amd64/syncevolution/filelist This shows that SyncEvolution was compiled without the D-Bus server. I don't know how amenable Ubuntu is to accepting new upstream releases into a Long Term Service release like Lucid. Perhaps it could go into Lucid Updates or Backports?
