Hi Patrick, There are ways to get this into the online help, just haven't had the time yet!! :) There are a number of other improvements to the OTC sites like this one that I'd like to add, but we'll we how to get this on the agenda.

There is http://syncevolution.org/filter/tips Something that is also missing there is a summary of the Markup syntax. The "tips" page is linked to under "Input Format" with the words "You can use *Markdown syntax* to format..." (emphasis mine) but then it doesn't mentioned that syntax at all. I could write something myself, but perhaps there is already something that can be pasted into the "tips" page?
