Sorry for the late reply, I'm traveling this week. I've tried sync-ui and syncevolution command line against a HTTP server, without problems. I still need to try direct sync with a phone (don't have one with me). One thing I noticed is that "syncevolution" doesn't depend on "syncevolution-dbus". That had me worried that it wouldn't work by default, but when I tried it, I was pleasantly surprised that we remembered to make "--use-daemon" off by default if the daemon is not installed. Yeah! :-) > These install in a more or less current debian squeeze (testing) system. > One thing that is not well tested on my side is the syncevo-http-server > script. Again, not something that I had the time to test. -- Best Regards, Patrick Ohly The content of this message is my personal opinion only and although I am an employee of Intel, the statements I make here in no way represent Intel's position on the issue, nor am I authorized to speak on behalf of Intel on this matter. _______________________________________________ SyncEvolution mailing list [email protected] http://lists.syncevolution.org/listinfo/syncevolution
