A segfault in sync-ui should never be able to crash your PC. If you encounter problems more severe than the sync UI suddenly disappearing while you use it, then there is something else broken in your system - hardware issues perhaps? > I reinstalled the GUI via synaptics, but that didn't help. > > Any thoughts?
