Thanks. It shows that the new enhanced merge script wasn't even called. Looking closer I see why: I extended a script that was only used in combination with EDS as local storage, and I forgot to ensure that the new functionality also gets used with other storages like the CardDAV one that you are using. This should be easy to fix.
