How did you log into it there? Is there still a web interface? Which credentials did you use for SyncEvolution? > but it gives me an error in > Syncevolution (1.4.1 Debian): > > [INFO] SoupTransport Failure: > https://sync.ovi.com/services/syncml?s=24ba5a5069604888b8e05bf3eae5c8ec&srv_id=001 > via libsoup: Gone > > then it times out. I can reproduce that. It only happens after several SyncML message exchanges where the server rejects the client credentials. I was using credentials which used to work. I suspect it is a denial-of-service protection. The real problem is getting username and password right. > Can that be solved, or has OVI become incompatible? I wasn't even aware that ovi.com was still offering a SyncML service. ovi.com redirects to here.com and that doesn't mention SyncML at all. This renders the old instructions for adding a new client (" Register your account at Ovi.com, add your phone by Ovi.com->Login->Add Device") obsolete. -- Best Regards, Patrick Ohly The content of this message is my personal opinion only and although I am an employee of Intel, the statements I make here in no way represent Intel's position on the issue, nor am I authorized to speak on behalf of Intel on this matter. _______________________________________________ SyncEvolution mailing list [email protected] https://lists.syncevolution.org/mailman/listinfo/syncevolution
