Hi All, Here's the newest reason to send pings to Syndic8 when your feed changes:
http://www.syndic8.com/news You can see news in a choice of 6 languages (English, Spanish, French, German, Dutch, or Japanese) and you can control how much you see (5 to 250 items). Feeds which ping (and which have actual new headlines present when they ping) are eligible to show up on this page when they are either Syndicated or Awaiting Approval. Using some advanced magic, this page is produced in a totally dynamic fashion without having to make any database queries. From looking at this it is clear that there are some feeds which ping purely for attention and without providing much in the way of actual new content, and I will be working on some ways to get this under control.
