I use RSS to keep people informed on specific interest areas and also use it to pull information into some sites that are directly related to a specific site. Sorry for going on so, but there are so many variables that ultimately you must do the needs assessment to help decide if RSS is right for you. I think if you spend a few hours reading up on it you will find the answers you are looking for...and you can always drop a line here and someone will usually have an idea to throw your way. >..
