Category: None Group: Latest release >Status: Closed >Resolution: Fixed Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Konstantin Dmitriev (zelgadis_ksee) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Crash when using Noise Distort Initial Comment: SVN: 2271 Steps to reproduce: - Create new file - Create rectangle layer (or any other layer?) - Add Noise Distort layer - Crash happens ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: dooglus (dooglus) Date: 2008-11-26 21:35 Message: Thanks for the use of your machine. This should be fixed in SVN r2286. Please rebuild and let me know if it's still a problem. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Konstantin Dmitriev (zelgadis_ksee) Date: 2008-11-26 15:29 Message: Full rebuild didn't help. After removing ~/.synfig crash still happens. But no crash with SVN2103. I'm on Fedora 7 x86_64. Will try to test on another machine with Fedora 7 i386/x86_64 tomorrow. Doing the rebuild with "./configure --enable-optimization=0 --enable-debug" now, will post output of valgrind as soon as I will get it compiled. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: dooglus (dooglus) Date: 2008-11-26 14:14 Message: I can't reproduce this. Does it still happen after a full rebuild? What if you move your ~/.synfig directory to a different name to reset everything to default settings? Completely rebuilding with "./configure --enable-optimization=0 --enable-debug" and then running "valgrind synfigstudio" (probably from package "valgrind") should produce some more information about what's going wrong, but it can be quite verbose. Could you please attach that output for the full run? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=757416&aid=2343914&group_id=144022 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ Synfig-devl mailing list Synfig-devl@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/synfig-devl
