Hi Yu,
we will be very glad to give you git commit rights to synfig git repo at
sourceforge.
Here are some hints to coordinate workflow:
1) Commits should be as atomic as possible. One task/feature/bug, one
commit.
2) All the commits should build by its own. In some cases that's not
possible due to the complexity of the change, but in general any commit
should be possible to build.
3) When working with a large feature use your own meaning branch using the
username as first word for the branch name: i.e. jcome_preview_dialog.
4) Only final release commits should go to master branch directly.
5) In general leave merge into master to me.
6) When starting to code, always do git fetch, to know the modifications of
other coders. In some cases it is needed to apply the current modifications
in your branch to continue working on it.
7) If the branch development is too long in time, try to merge master
branch into your branch regurlarly. That would help to merge your branch
into master later. If not, sometimes there are merge conflicts that may
carry on headaches to fix.
8) Open a story at pivotal tracker for your branch. That would allow us to
accept or reject the story using that tracker.
Welcome!
Carlos
