I just verified my preview window improvement code and pushed to github:

for preview window:
1) new time slider widget
2) new play/pause, seek to previous/next frame buttons and new stop,
re-preview, erase all icons
3) hidden time tracker widget
4) use gtkmm window instead gtkmm dialog widget to enable close button for
gnome 3 user
5) make the preview content always stay in the centre of preview window
for canvas window:
1) use whitespace instead of vertical separator to separate lock keyframes
buttons and animation button
2) add extra space for a clear button layout for the buttons at the top of
canvas window
known issues:
1) seek to previous/next frame buttons in preview window some times seek
to incorrect frame
2) ESC button to close preview window doesn't work at the moment
