Hi Denis!
Those are great news. I wonder if it would affect to the plans of integrate ETL
into synfig-core and my proposal of integration and replacement of the analog
libraries with the corresponding Boost ones.
We are going to release a new tiny update of the code as soon as possible. I'm
working on a bug related to keyboard shortcuts and as soon it is fixed I'll
start the release procedure. It would be great to have debian packages of the
latest upcoming release.

I think that the ETL integration can be done later because it would imply
adaptation of all the packaging procedures in all the platforms.

Looking forward to your progresses!
Cheers
Carlos

Asunto: [Synfig-devl] Debian ITP (Intent-To-Package) bugs filed

Hi,

We are one tiny step closer to get synfig back to Debian: I just filed ITP
(Intent-To-Package) bugs for etl, synfig and synfigstudio to bugs.debian.org.
The respective bugs are:

etl:    http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=665041
synfig: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=665042
studio: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=665045

This means that the Debian package proposal process has now officially started!
As a next step, Dmitry and I will try to find sponsors to accelerate the
process.

Note that, according to Dmitry, the whole process is going to take weeks, so
hold your breadth! If any questions about upstream come up, I will forward them
to this list so that we can get everything sorted out quickly.

Regards,
Denis
