Reading Cairo mailing list I've heard of a tool for static analysis of the
code for potential security risks and more code errors.
See this thread and how this guy discovered the silly mistake in the code:

I think it could be good to run the static code analysis one at last to
discover potential crashes and maybe fix some of them.
