I assumed you read the post[1] in http://linuxtoy.org . In that post, the
command "$ synfig spiderboat.sifz --start-time 5941f --end-time 5951f -w
1920 -h 1080 -o render/spiderboat.png" is for render the spiderboat.sifz
into a specified image sequence.
To run the command properly, you have to have sipderboat.sifz and an
external file it used, it is the source file I mentioned in the article. I
didn't make it public for some reasons.

It always takes time to learn new stuff. The manual[2] is a good start for
a beginner, I teach myself by following those documents as well.
Except English, we have Spanish, French and Chinese sub-forums available
currently, so just choose which you prefer :)
