There is a new reply on a guestbook in your concrete5 website. synfig studio did not run on mac os x 10.9.5
i tried running it from terminal, it said org.freeware.dbus ...something is not loaded, install dbus from macport (i happen got it installed for nginx stuff) then the message says dbus is loaded but service unknown...
