Hi list,

I have observed that at least PIX as well as the popular sysklogd package
under Linux place a LF at the end (last char) of the syslog message. I am
not sure about other syslogd implementations.

Anyhow, I wonder if we should allow LF and (enventually CR in front of it)
as the last character of the MSG part (or even after it). This question
applies to all currently discussed IDs. I propose we allow it, because that
will help a newer receivers to treat messages from those popular emitors as
well-formed. I don't see where having it optionally in would hurt.
