You can have your cake and eat it too, i.e. have both 6.0.7 and 7.0.
Move the 7.0 Finder into the Extensions folder.
Rename the System Folder to something like System Folder7.
Reboot.
Question mark will appear.
Install 6.0.7
Reboot.
Add System Switcher application.
Add the Desktop Mgr extension to the System 6 Folder
In the System Folder7 drag the Finder back where it belongs.
Now you can select either 6 or 7 using the System Switcher application.
The Desktop Mgr extension prevents the Desktop from being rebuilt every
time systems are switched.
