1. i have a PB100, which i use almost every day as a word-processing machine. it's loaded with a bitchin suite of apps, just in case i need them, but by and large, 99% of the time it's running WriteNow 4.0, the Deluxe American Heritage Dictionary, and that's it. i love the PB100 because it's small, light, does most everything i need it to do, it uses so little power that i can keep it running on a solar panel, and if it gets dropped, stolen, etc., the only real value lost is sentimental. (and now, with Sys 6, it boots almost instantaneously. thanks, guys!!) 2. i also have an SE/30 and a IIci. the IIci is a good workhorse (it has the Daystar 40MHz 040 upgrade and a nice Radius Thunder something-or-another video card), but i'm not terribly attached to it. probably because it's just a beige slab. but i can't imagine ever getting rid of the SE/30, because it was my dream computer back in the late '80s, and it's still ultra-cool and ultra-capable (especially considering the fact that i tricked it out with a Diimo 50MHz 030 upgrade card with a math coprocessor). but i must say that i don't use it very much. craig __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
