I am on a roll now, talked things over with the Pickle and decided that we should try and get hold of the source code of the only system 6 compatible browser around, MacWWW. This browser was developed by CERN. I wrote an e-mail to the great Tim Berners-Lee himself (the architect behind the early webbrowsers) asking him about this... Waiting for his answer now... (Do people like that answer e-mails from mere mortals?) With the use of this source code developers should be able to produce an upgraded version of MacWWW. And then there is the question of the functionality that should be added to this browser, I was thinking about: HTML 4 specs (as much as possible) support, CSS, limited frame support, forms and tables....
