Hi, I'm a total newbie to the world of Macintosh. Having been a Windoze user for a number of years I have now been given a Mac SE/30 with 4Mb of Ram and a 80Mb HD. At the moment it is running System 7.1 but I am lead to believe the System 6 is quicker. Basically, what I want to do with it is use it as my e-mail machine, just having it running an e-mail program so that no matter what I'm doing I can read and send mail. My questions therefore are these:
1. Which version of System 6 would best suit my needs and where can I download it from? 2. What other software do I need to install to get my Mac on the internet and using e-mail?
