Ok, here's my simple question: Can I run system 6 on a Mac IIvx? Yes, I can..
I know I just answered my own question because I know it's possible; I simply
can't remember how it is done. I've tried booting with a system 6 floppy, and
I get the standard "You need a later version of system software on this
macintosh" (something along those lines) message. For me, this was a bit of a
surprise, because I had thought the IIvx was of considerable age.
Oh, and I received the same message when attempting to boot from system 7.1.
Hmm.
