Ugh. I attempted to get OS X (10.2.1 on a G3 AIO) to communicate with the IIci (6.0.7) last night, with mixed results. I was following the instructions posted by Marten and Jag.
File sharing worked, but only over ethernet. I can configure the printer port, but apparently not for a LocalTalk connection. Oddly, I had full access to all files as far as I could tell, not just the Public folder (I didn't test a whole lot). Terminal access did not work. It looks like things have changed since Jag's post (which covers 10.0.1). Has anyone gotten terminal access from System 6 to OS X v.10.2.1 (using Telnet, ZTerm, or any application for that matter) to work? Any suggestions as to what I should try?
