Hi,

I'm new to this list and to Macs for that matter. I have recently acquired a Classic
Mac with a 40Mb HD and 4Mb RAM. I have installed System 6.0.8 onto the machine with no
problem. I have also obtained an Asante SCSI-to-Ethernet Adapter and installed the
driver for that.

When I go into control panel I do not see any network/tcp related panels. What I wish
to do is this:

I currently have a PC connected to a NetGear Firewall/Router. An ethernet cable goes
from my Cable Modem to the router, and another cable goes from my router to the PC.
Now my PC is behind a firewall but still has access to a broadband internet
connection. As the router has ports for another 3 machines I want to connect my
Classic to the router so that I can use that machine for email.

Can anybody help? What other software do I need on my System 6 Classic?

Thanks in advance for your help.
Andy.
