Ethernet over SCSI is pretty slow in these old machines. You are seeing roughly
the speeds to be expected if you are also asking Fetch to de-binhex on the fly
(this is the default setting). If you want to test the raw network speed, change
your Fetch options so that you don't have the CPU work to decode while also
transferring. You will probably see a ~5x boost in speed (but you'll still have
to decode offline).
