Yes, neo-Classic-al historians will think that.  However, Jobsian historians
will say that:

  System 6 should have had the warning label: 'Warning: this operating
  system can be hazardous to the lives of programmers.'
  
I don't know who will dominate, but it looks like the Jobsians are winning
right now.
