Hotline has its own protocol, and requires a Hotline client. It is something like these instant messaging services or IRC, only there is a lot more emphasis on the file library aspect. If I may suggest, please take discussions of illicit activities off the list. I, personally, don't care if you implicitly discuss these things. But once the discussion becomes explicit, hence public, you are bound to loose your Hotline servers and we may even loose this list. :`( There are other friendly, 68k Mac communities (AppleFritter, 68kmla.net) but they are the web -- hence they don't have the convenience of a mailing list.
