I don't understand what dependencies if any Xorg may have on systemd, and saw an apparent time connection between upgrade to 219 and problem appearance in Tumbleweed. > Please ask the X11/drivers people for help, http://lists.x.org/archives/xorg/2015-March/057252.html got no response. The bugzilla.redhat.com bug has generated no response. The mageia-dev mailing list provided no useful response in both September and February. https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=15662 has generated no response as well. Only place left that makes sense to try is kernel, maybe KMS fault switching back from 1600x1200 to 1024x768? -- "The wise are known for their understanding, and pleasant words are persuasive."
