Ok enough!
Track will not be what it once was, ever! That is a given. But if you tell
people it is on TV they will watch it. The audience is low because the
general populace is still learning that track is a viable sport. The
education has been slow because as a business, and a professional sport track
is young. I remember when the NBA championship was tape delayed, at
midnight. Today, it is primetime material.
My point is, track needs something it does not have by nature, patience.
Time has proven most of you wrong, and most naysayers wrong over the past
decade, and I predict time will prove itself once again.
track is healthy and fine. TV is just getting to the point where they care
what is on. And they do care, losing money and wasting time is not in the
program.
