This morning, listening to my local (Boston area) AM sports talk radio, I was pleasantly surprised to hear the hosts, Dennis and Callahan, who almost never talk about anything other than the big three - American football, baseball, and basketball - and who are generally wiseasses about just about everything, and who had spent the previous few minutes trashing the various Olympic "minor" sports (waterpolo, softball, etc.) say that the "Olympics don't start until the running starts". Good to hear something positive about track from mainstream sports commentators! Bruce Goodchild Cambridge/Boston.
