after taking into account last weekend's marathon activity, the 300th
fastest men's performance for 2000 is 2:15:28

in a tie for 301st are four 2:15:30s, including one by Rod DeHaven, the
fastest American time of the year. keep in mind also that some men this year
have more than one sub-2:15:30s, so DeHaven rates about #250 or so on
performer rankings

fortunately Khalid Khannouchi is running Chicago on Oct 22, so barring
catastophe some US pride should be salvaged.
