If someone is offended by an ad and wants to complain, that is their right.
Given how poorly we think that networks/marketers have identified what
Americans want to watch, it shouldn't surprise us that the ad was pulled.
IMO there are many, many worse ads out there than this one and few are
complaining.

As for the degree of reality, I have difficulty believing that there have
been a lot of large, chainsaw-wielding, hockey-mask wearing men running
through the dark woods chasing an obviously fast woman in jogging clothes.
It was so unrealistic that I wondered if they were showing a clip from a
movie the first time I saw it.  Perhaps it would have been different if she
had been running along and he had jumped out from hiding and wrestled her to
the ground (and that still would be nothing that doesn't happen nightly on
network TV).
