The Nike add wasn't horror, it was funny. Almost as funny as listening to the pundits
of political correctness as they try to tell everyone how things should be.
Real horror would be doing hill repeats with a group of Kenyans. Real horror is the
look on Tergat's face on the cover of T&F when he won his last XC title. Real horror
is reading the training logs of world class athletes. Real horror is described by the
quote, "love suffering....embrace it" (don't remember who said it....Cerutty, Timmons,
Igloi??). Send's shivers up your spine. And since this thread started with the add
with Suzy, real horror is what was going through Suzy's mind with about 100m to go in
Sydney, when she KNEW it was over.
