 The individual at-large selections are the two highest placers out of all nine regions who are not already in the meet (i.e., not on one of the teams nor an automatic individual qualifier (top 4 in each region). 

Women: Nerissa Johnson (Auburn) and Katie Nowak (Ball State).

Men: Bryan Green (UCLA) and Mike Olague (Houston).

Both of the women were seventh in their regions (Johnson in the South, Nowak in the Great Lakes), while Olague was ninth in the South Central and Green was tenth in the West.
